Great Food Awful Service
Sampan Inn clearly has the best Chinese food in Greater Philadelphia. Unfortunately, the service is horrible, the waiters are often rude, and the manager is worse. The service used to be excellent, but over the years it's gone way downhill. At this point, if I'm desparate for their food, I order take out and have a friend pick it up.    [16 Jul 2003 18:46:18]

We Like the Food and Service
We started eating at Sampan in late summer 2003. The food is very good, and the frequent line of people getting take out confirms that this is a well-liked place for good Chinese food. We like the sushi too. We have eaten inside a few times and have found the service to be quite good. They have been very accomodating with our requests.    [29 Jan 2004 18:42:11]

Best (and Cheapest) Sushi in DelCo !
Live up the street and have eaten there at least 20 times and have tried most every sushi place around and this is the best. Service can be a little slow but never a huge problem.    [26 Feb 2005 19:47:48]

I Love It
I love Sampan Inn. I live right across the street and whenever I'm in a mood for Chinese I go there. Their food is delicious! And their service is perfect. However, there are some workers who can be sort of rude. But the majority of them are wonderful! The very first time I ate there I knew I have to come here more often.    [02 Mar 2006 17:11:12]

Absolutely love it!
I love this place...I was introduced to this restaurant about a year ago. The food is great the service has always been satisfactory (I haven't had any rude service). I get cravings for this stuff and I HAVE to have it! Very intimate yet kid friendly environment. Great place for a date or a family dinner. I can't say enough about the food.
