You call that service? Imagine a 4 year old child eating a bowl of Linguini with Meat Sauce and thinking there is a hair in it. The imagine the mother trying the same meat sauce and thinking the same thing. Then imagine the owner asking if the mother saved the hair after they took the dish back to the kitchen to "look for it". Then imagine the owner explaining that the hair was actually celery and asking if we wanted to wrap it up and take it home with us and then IMAGINE THIS.
Refusing to take the $5 item off the $100 bill becuase their wasn't anything wrong with the dish.
I don't care what the problem is, if the customer was unhappy, a $5 bowl of pasta which probably cost 25 cents to make should be taken back. My 4 year old son ate my wife's side dish and that memorable dish will be remembered by us as the last one we eat at this local establishment.
Poor service is inexcusable if they want to keep their customers. [30 Dec 2003 11:27:51]

Really Great Food and Service Having eaten at many Italian restaurants in this area (and there are many!), Aldo's most reminds me of my favorite restaurants in New York. Their Chicken Francese is the best around and their specials, while more expensive, are always very inventive and delicious. I like the new look, but preferred the softer chairs and the tablecloths more than the new marble tables, but the banquettes are comfy. Our service has always been friendly and usually quick unless they are super busy. We love Aldo's! [31 Mar 2006 16:52:41]
