My PA Ponderosa Experience
I was recently on a trip back home, my family went to Ponderosa, while only wanting to get the salad buffet, the hostess talked me (one of 7) into the all you can eat steak, I thought, hey only a little over a dollar more, why not? Well, not only did it take over 40 minutes (43 to be exact) for my first steak to arrive (while the people seated next to me were on their 2nd helping) after I had finished my steak, to my surprise, my waiter had conveniently disappeared. Not only was I not offered another steak, but I had to get up and get refills for my own drinks. On the way out, I asked for a comment card, of course there were none. When I was asked if I wanted to talk to a manager, to whom I thought I was already talking, I decided not to because I am only in the area about 2 time a year and why cause the fuss, I did have one steak and my father eats there regularly ( 2-3 times a week) so, I did not want to cause a scene.    [26 Jul 2002 21:35:44]

Recommended Dishes: Buffet (stay away from all you can eat steak, they don't want to wait on you too much if you are going to cost them too much)

Uptown Meal Plan
I went to this place thinking that they would most definitely be on the Uptown Meal Plan but only after I was in the door and ordered did I become aware that they were not. I guess they have to have a sticker in the window or something to be on the program? Food was good though.    [07 Oct 2003 15:09:52]
