CEAD MILE FAILTE (100 THOUSAND WELCOMES) IRISH
A beautifully restored inn, right in the heart of Jim Thorpe (little Switzerland), PA. Great food with reasonable prices. Don't forget to "look-up" while dining, as the "original" tin (embossed) ceiling still looks like new. Our waiter told us it is from the 1850's!    [23 Dec 2001 23:24:59]

Very friendly town and restaurant

THE BEST THANKSGIVING EVER!
Every year we go to Jim Thorpe, and we have our thanksgiving at the emerald restaurant. The food has always been wonderful. The service is always warm and the atmosphere is just outstanding. We'll be there this year also. I am looking forward to all those pies and breads.    [02 Nov 2004 12:24:30]
