Not Worth the Trip
We were at Bertolini's for dinner on Saturday 3/08/03. There were 4 of us. The water came after the coffee even though we asked for it when the waiter asked about drinks. The salad came after 15 minutes. Then we waited and waited. My meal was missing the potatoes and when I asked the waiter, he said, "Oh yes, I thought that came with potatoes." He returned after I was half way through my meal with the potatoes. I got my meal 4 minutes before everyone else -- why they were separate, God only knows. The waiter was very disorganized. The meals were good, once we got them, except for the potatoes -- they tasted like they had vinegar in them -- it was a really strange taste. The waiter never refilled coffee. He must have been having a really bad day. I just would not make an effort to go back there again.    [10 Mar 2003 08:08:15]
