Koffee Korner...heads and tails above the rest
I'm so glad places like this exist. Koffee Korner is a warm friendly place with great food and service but no pretense. All the food is prepared fresh by the owner, and you know that he cares. Gerd (the owner) could be running any number of fine dining restaurants (he has) but instead has brought his talents to a smaller place and the results are delicious. Koffee Korner award winning breakfast
This should be listed among the all time greats! The scene is funky because the clientelle is so eclectic, old and young, rich and poor, all there to see friends and chat with the local color. the cooks, who works right in the front offers their wacky and irreverant style to the whole mix, all the while cooking up some mean chow, the cook takes no prisoners when it comes to breakfast.. their waitstaff are fast and friendly and enjoy their work..... it shows in the repeat business.    [08 Mar 2006 19:47:19]

The Koffee Korner Cafe has the most amazing food.

The owners put pride in what they make and it shows.
I eat there all the time and I've never been disappointed.

I love their Cheese Burgers......they're prepared perfectly.

They also have lunch specials to die for...My favorite is the crab cake sandwich. I also love their chili special.

For breakfast, I love their big fat fluffy blueberry pancakes... they're awesome.

The atmosphere is casual. They have a counter.... Which is great if you're eating alone on your lunch break. The staff is super nice and accommodating. They always make me feel welcomed.

I've only gone a few times but the Koffee Korner Cafe owners started this event called "Dining Under The Stars" which is every Wednesdays and restaurants set-up tables on State Street and serve dinner under the stars! I love going there with my girlfriend for dinner. The Koffee Korner Cafe makes Mexican food. The owners are from California so they know how to make amazing Mexican food. It's great to finally be able to get Mexican food in Media.... it's about time.

Shops also set-up on State Street. So you can shop for cool gifts after you eat! Such a good and creative idea..... It makes Media fun and festive.

The event is on State Street from the Media Theatre to the end of the trolley line.
