THE Original's
Sal and his crew make a wonderful pie with a chewable edge and crisp bottom. The crust seems to be just a little thicker than you'll find elsewhere in the area. Lunch and Dinner you will always find locals and repeat customers. Sal seems to know everyone one of us and never fails to keep us happy. Along with traditional pies and hot and cold sandwiches, The Original's offers a couple of dinner specials and usually something new every couple of weeks or so. For nearly 20 years, Sal has been one of those guys we call a pillar of the community. His shop is the sponsor of several neighborhood sporting and scholastic teams, and he and his family have raised many donations for local families at times of need. How could you not buy a pizza from this man? He's a saint, and makes wonderful food. Seating is comfortable, simple (mostly booths and a few small tables), and has the feel of a cheery cafe along the sunny Italian coast. The waitresses are cute and friendly and keep the dining area very clean. The Original's does not deliver, but it is worth the drive.    [06 Sep 2007 17:28:32]
