Dick's Diner has Delectable Desserts Don't worry, the recent rennovation hasn't affected the quality of the food. Dick's still delivers home cooked meals to your table with that "Mel's Diner" waitress look-a-like (except Dick's has better uniforms). Your neighbor or long lost friend is probably still sitting at the counter chatting with the cashier about the locals. Two things that may never change: the cars sitting in the parking lot and the delicious after dinner desserts (or before dinner if you are dining with me). The atmosphere screams family and if that doesn't convince you, bring your screaming under 12 children down on Tuesday night for a virtually free meal (you will have to pay for dessert, after all). Breakfast is also one of my favorites here. There is something about being able to cook with so much grease and still be able to turn out a good pancake with sausage. After a cup of joe and a few french toasts with bacon, why not try a chocolate cream pie with a fresh milkshake? Whatever the meal or occassion, DO NOT MISS DESSER [26 Oct 2000 13:06:51]

My home away from home Dick's Diner is and always will be my favorite eatery. Whether it's the people, the food, or the sheer experience of going there, it is my place to eat. My family has been going there at least twice weekly (and often times more) for the past 7 years, and we have not regretted it. If you want to visit a place with old-fashioned charm and food, check it out. [03 Mar 2001 11:46:26]

Warm's Ya Heart And Soul. I'm 17. That means I'm always hungry, and low on cash. I go to a private high school, which means I'm always stressed out. Enter Dick's Diner. Heck, I've been eatin there since I was...well, forever. I love that place. I walk in, and I feel like I'm home. Sit at the counter, like I do, if you're by yourself. The waitresses are always willing to chat you up about whatever. Friendly service, non-oppressive atmosphere (IE, not a lot of crazy crap all over the walls), and an inexpensive menu chock full of comfort foods. And you get your food chop-chop. Ahhhhhh.......and the pies. Mmm-mmm. Can't even really think of the words to describe them. Screw Starbucks. Screw Paneras. Screw all the other trendy little places my generation seems to hang out at. Gimme an-all American diner any day. What can I say, as a t-shirt that I made says..."I love Dick's." And so will you.
