Interesting Pub We've been there twice, and haven't been disappointed. Menu has standard favorites, and some interesting entrees which one would not expect from a pub. They carry all of these dishes off surprisingly well. Mussels in red sauce were very good, as were the crab cakes, seasoned well with very little filler. A lamb shank pot pie was great. Shepherd's pie was well above average. Service is friendly and excellent. Prices are also decent and friendly. Overall, I would't call this gourmet, but it is certainly well above average, and a pleasant, warm, and comfortable experience. [29 Dec 2006 09:22:03]

Reminds Me of the Old Country What a fine place for a young (or old) lad or lass: fine food, fine clientele, exceptional owner. Rare to find an owner of a pub who studied at the Culinary Institute of American who produces food with his very training intact!
Would recommend this place for the casual diner or individual with a more refined palate. [05 Jan 2007 21:22:16]

Good local food I've been to McShea's quite a bit. It's a good place to sit and have a beer or have a nice meal with the family. I always go there when I have out-of-town guests and they enjoy themselves. They also cater to small children. Meals like, Fish and Chips or Grilled Cheese... It can get quite crowded, smoky and sometimes it's a tight squeeze, but you can mingle with the locals watching sports events or listening to the bands. [08 Feb 2007 12:15:08]
