Valentine Dinner My wife and I have gone to this dinner every year since it has been offered on Valentines Day, which is also her birthday, but last night's meal was very disappointing. My steak was overcooked and dry; the potato soup was lukewarm. My wife had Prime Rib which was kind of ho hum and somewhat chewy.
The server was very lacking in my opinion as we had to ask for everything; nothing was really offered. We even had to ask for the dessert tray. I also asked twice about my steak and what she considered medium and was told that is what mine was.
All in all we were very disappointed in our meal last evening and spoiled a longstanding traditional dinner [15 Feb 2003 05:52:28]

Country Charm This restaurant has had a great reputation since it opened in the 1940s, and just keeps getting better with age! We really enjoy meeting family there as the atmosphere is such that you can hear one another talk. [06 May 2003 22:17:01]

Valentine Dinner 2006 We attended the Candlelight dinner tonight at the Inn and loved every moment. Great table, lovely music by the musicians, exquisite food, super service, and Jody's desserts were scrumptious as always. [10 Feb 2006 22:52:44]
