Avoid This Inn At All Costs!
My wife and I planned on a brief getaway to the Bucks/Hunterdon County area, including dinner and an overnight stay. We ended up leaving our barely-touched plates at the table and driving home in the middle of the night, after cautioning the innkeeper that we did not expect to be charged for anything. Here's what we encountered:
Our dinner reservations - made weeks earlier - were for 8:00. We were finally seated shortly before 9:00. By the way, Jerry the Innkeeper offered to buy us a cocktail by way of apology, then never did so! Thanks, Jerry.
Our waiter took our order fairly promptly, then basically disappeared. We waited nearly half an hour for our salad/appetizer course, then an additional half-hour for our entrees. My spinach/bleu cheese salad came without dressing.
My scallops were so overdone that they were chewy and tasteless. My fennel, which was supposed to be roasted, was lightly cooked on the outside and cold at the center. I suspect it had been microwaved.
My wife's medallions of pork were a tough, congealed mess. [14 Jan 2001 12:40:19]

Recommended Dishes: Anything, as long as you order it somewhere other than the Centre Bridge.

Great Dinning Experience
Friends and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We went on a Thursday evening for the lobster dinner, at 20.00 a great deal. I started with the calamari/olive appetizer and it is delicious. For dinner I had the rack of lamb which also was great. All 3 of us had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. [26 Sep 2006 14:19:48]
