First Class Food in a Casual Atmosphere
You know you have a good meal when, after taking a bite, you just close your eyes, pause and, discover you are smiling blissfully, having one of those special moments when the morsel you've tasted delivers flavors that seem to flow directly to your pleasure center. This is a reliably obtained experience at Cafe Con Leche.

I love the Caesar Salad with hot shrimp, the pasta with mushrooms and scallops, the bean soup, the tiramisu.

The berry cobbler-- a confection of mixed berries, a simple white cake and whipped cream takes you several steps closer to heaven. I wouldn't consider taking someone to this palace of dining delight without ordering some for them to try.

The fact is, I've never ordered a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy here. The soups are really quite spectacular.

Daniel the chef, a native Argentinian was at Meils in Stockton, NJ, before opening his own place here.

And last but not least, let's not forget the balsamic salad dressing-- so good they've begun packaging it and selling it to take home...under the name Balsamico.

One of the Best Places in Newtown
I eat here all the time. They don't take reservations(even if they say they do). But the food is great. Even after a

Hidden Gem
You can't go wrong here. Everything is great! The appearance helps keep it a secret...Superb dishes and specials in the guise of a "take-out joint" with a seating area. BYOB and enjoy your cozy little find.    [06 Sep 2003 16:09:40]

Scrumptious
I dream of the food at this cozy little restaurant. I will go as far as to drive 30 minutes on a given Saturday afternoon to pick up a tomato and mozzerella sandwich with balsamico. It is the bets thing I have ever tasted.    [03 Aug 2004 10:20:38]

Recommended Dishes: Tomato and mozzerella sandwich, the bean soup ans veggie fajitas are a must as well. I have never gotten past these three items on the menu to comment on anything else :)
