Not the same Charlotte's
I first ate at Charlotte's in December and was so thrilled with our meals, decided to treat my family to Easter dinner - mistake #1. Everything I enjoyed about the restaurant in December was gone. I can take into account that it was a holiday but there are a few things I cannot abide and they are listed below:
I realize the price of lettuce has skyrocketed but what was on my salad plate besides onions - I'll answer that for you - very little and no lettuce at all. Four uneaten plates sent back.

Here is a hint for you - rice does not go with fish, particularly fish which is not fully cooked. How hard can baked potatoes be? Or French fries to accompany the very small piece of flounder my son ordered - fried flounder and roasted potatoes??????

My vegetables which consisted of string beans and carrots were freezing cold - all four plates of these were returned and my husband ordered prime rib which was not cheap and it was delivered to him red - he ordered medium well. I heard the gentleman behind me send his back as well.

I am sad to say that the restaurant I bragged to my friends about in December was not the restaurant I dropped $130.00 in last night. Sorry to say - you've lost me as a customer. On a positive note, my waiter (Kevin was his name) offered very polite service to all    [01 Apr 2002 09:17:20]
