It's a dessert thing
I've been eating here for over a decade. This is something like a local version of Friendly's, with "family"-type food (grilled cheese, burgers, chips, salads, heavy breakfasts) which is okay but not great, and, of course, awesome desserts. My family picks up a pint or two at the adjunct ice cream retail a couple of times a month during the summer. The restaurant staff are nice, service is okay, although there is sometimes a wait. Lots of noisy youth at times, but whaddya expect -- that's who they mainly sell to.    [04 Nov 2004 16:43:00]

breakfast disappointment
Went there with my 12 yr. old son after a hockey game in the late am wanting breakfast. My son, not seeing french toast or pancakes on the menu, asked if they were available. Answer, no, but waffles were, as on menu, but had fruit sauce and whip cream. My son ordered those plain, but they came with all of the above after a long wait, and asking about them. Sent back and waited for fresh, was given the same waffle, cold and scraped and turned over on a new plate. He also ordered a milkshake, which he said was ok. By then he just wanted to go home, so we will not go back.    [07 Nov 2005 11:36:54]

Go for the Ice Cream.
Restaurant is noisy, service is slowish and the food is overpriced and of mediocre quality.
