Great Food
Brought a large group from Lockheed Martin to Il Sol. Great service and food. Nicely presented. Definitely a do-again! The staff was wonderful. A pleasant patio area too for nicer weather.    [22 Apr 2003 10:12:36]

Horrendous
Recently visited Il Sol. I will never patronize again. Our waiter brought two of us the same dinner, the other two dinners were specified without mushrooms and he even repeated it back. They came out with mushrooms. Back everything went, the only correct dish as this point was sitting in it's sauce growing rubbery. Out comes the fixed meal, except that, it wasn't fixed. Mushrooms again all around. After this the head waitress came over and apologized. We proceeded to tell her this was horrendous treatment. After that our waiter all but threw our food (that we had to tell him to wrap, we weren't even asked) at us. Our wine glasses stood empty for over 25 minutes. One last thing, there was no discount after all this. The check was $100, we left a four dollar tip, $4 too much in my opinion.    [28 May 2003 22:21:09]

First walking into the restaurant I already had a sour taste in my mouth. The decor was atrocious. The place was very smoky, not cigarette smoky, but as if the fans in the kitchen were not working. The wait-staff was very friendly and polite which did make the experience some what nice. The food was very bland and lacked taste. I purchased the veal and crabmeat meal, but returned it since they tried to pass pork off on me. The second dish came out, and again, it was pork.
