Worth a stop
Odd mix of southwestern food and blues bar. Food runs from good to inspired. One of my favorites. Sit in the upstairs bar at a table overlooking South St.
Service is slow. Avoid the jambalaya. The gumbo is very good, the fish tacos (not your father's tacos) are excellent. Prices have gone up a little, but still a good value. My daughter says the chicken fingers are the best if you take kids.    [20 Oct 2002 11:06:17]
