Description

Imported flat round, cast-iron crêpe griddles are used to prepare crêpes. The people of France, especially those of Northwestern region of Brittany, have enjoyed crêpes since the Middle Ages. There are two kinds of crêpes or krampouz from Brittany: ble noir are savory crêpes made with buckwheat flour and froment are sweet crêpes made with wheat flour.

Very Cute Restaurant
Having brunch here is a real experience. The savory crepes can be filled almost anything you can imagine. I had scrambled eggs, swiss cheese and roasted leeks, it was wonderful but even it paled in comparison to our sweet crepe of baked pear with creme anglais. My husband had a steak and egg with crepe and it was a perfect and very tender steak with eggs your way.
Service was perfect as well. We had a small table right in front of the fireplace. I wouldn't change a thing and I can't wait to return.    [19 Mar 2006 22:29:48]
