This Restaurant Rates as a Ten Have thoroughly enjoyed every different dish I have ordered. My entire family love the Green Hills Inn and their excellent food. We have never had anything to complain about. Most importantly, the quality of food and service are consistent. When we have important guests or business associates we don't take chances with just any restaurant, we only trust Green Hills Inn. Our favorite soup is jalapeno and we wish they would serve it more often. Our compliments to a great chef. The Blechman family of Mohnton, PA [25 Sep 2002 09:30:56]

If I spend $100+ for 2 dinners, I spend it here Have dined at this award winning restaurant regularly for over 25 years. Quality, service and ownership have been consistent the entire time. Owner was a student of Georges Perrier (Le Bec-Fin, Phila). Superior creations utilizing seasonal ingredients, experienced staff, country setting, romantic atmosphere and easy (free) parking combine to make this restaurant the perfect spot for special occasions. There's no dining that can compete within a 50 mile radius. (Jacket and tie not required.) [05 Feb 2003 18:15:42]

Never disappointed My biggest problem is what to select...seafood? Game? Steak? They're all very well done, with plenty of imagination and creativity.
The wait staff is always attentive without being overbearing. [08 Jan 2004 15:48:01]

Absolutely Excellent The soups are masterpieces of culinary art. The entrees are fabulous and will melt in your mouth. But the most wondeful thing are the desserts, they are fantastic. No words can describe this restaurant. [20 Apr 2004 04:05:19]

Favorite Place in Reading My wife and I always go to Green Hills for special Occasions. Service has always been amazing and the food is wonderful. For my best clients, I have annual dinner here and they easily handled 25 people. All attendees were very impressed and felt everything was wonderful. They are very accommodating for corporate accounts and have worked with me (very picky) on every issue I had. [02 Apr 2005 12:45:51]

Excellent Evening Out We were told to try this restaurant and now we can tell others the same. It was wonderful. The food was delicious; the wait staff was attentive and friendly and service was superb. The only negative thing I might say would be the noise level is a bit loud. Overall, I would definitely good back again. It was lovely especially around the holidays. [17 Dec 2006 19:34:43]

Wonderful wonderful!! My husband & I went to Green Hills Inn when we visited Lancaster Sept 2006. We loved it so much we took a trip again so that we could eat at the Inn for our anniversary in May 2007. The food is incredible, the ambiance terrific and the service is never lacking. Everything about this place is special and the evenings we have had there have been magical. [20 May 2007 17:25:33]
