Horrible Service
I ordered pizzas for delivery from this joint after receiving their menu in the mail. I asked to use a coupon and the guy told me it would take 45 minutes and gave me an amount. I called after 45 minutes and he told me the guy had left 10 minutes ago. I called another 15 minutes later and was told the guy left 8 minutes ago. Obviously the person on the phone was lieing, and was very rude.
When the guy finally came an hour and 15 minutes after my order was placed, he had a bill which was about $8 higher than what I was told on the phone. The delivery man called him up, and the guy on the phone has the audacity to tell me that the coupon is wrong, as there was a misprint in the menu, and that its not Pizza Land's fault. I told him that I would only pay what I was told on the phone since that was the deal we had. He tells me that I had to pay the higher amount, or else the guy would take the food back.
This place has does not know the ABC's of business or customer service. Rather than being apologetic for being late, and for sucking it up and accepting the coupon, he was rude, and obnoxious on the phone. I would urge everyone reading this toi never do business with Pizza Land of Wayne!!!    [25 May 2007 07:51:59]

Best Pizza Steak Ever
Yes, I had the best pizza-steak ever here. It was so good I can't explain it on a G-Rated web site.
Pizza is good and can be bought by the slice, which is nice for both you figure and variety. Nice people, but it seems that the owners keep changing... I may be wrong... but every time I go there seems to be new people behind the counter, which is fine, but the place has a kind of neighborhood feel and I sort of expect to be able to get to know the folks there.
Ambiance is OK for a "pizza joint". Very small about ten tables/booths.
Hint... Rita's Water Ice is about 10 feet away.. so have your meal at Pizza Land and your dessert at Rita's.    [13 Jul 2007 17:09:23]
