Just Great!
My wife and I stumbled upon Taquet one winter day and had lunch. We loved it. We now travel out to Wayne each year for our wedding anniversary dinner here at Taquet. A real Main Line coat and tie affair. Excellent food and service. They must think I am crazy becuase every year I always order a second Apple Tart for dessert - it is that good. Awful
Touted to me as a "Great restaurant, I was sorely disappointed. The food was over-priced, mediocre and service haughty and pretentious. An eagerly awaited venison in wine gravy dish was miniscule, too perfect, too cute itty bitty portion swimming in what could have been French's gravy. Wine list left a bit to be desired.
