A great little bistro This friendly little eatery in Wayne has it all - great food, stellar service, and a line out the door on weekends. The mid-sized menu showcases pastas and pizzas, but just about everything there is good. (The arugula salad is a standout) The staff are quite knowledgeable about the menu items, and I have even heard them steer tables towards foods that will go best with the BYO wine the customers had brought. There are only two drawbacks to Teresa's - (1) it can be quite noisy, and (2) when the wait is long, there is no place to sit indoors until your table is ready. As another review said, it also isn't a place where you can linger over coffee, unless you have picked a quiet night. But this is a great place, so you owe it to yourself to try it! Teresa's I have eaten here on several occasions, and the food is always good. I especially enjoy the pizzas. The help is extremely knowledgeable of the food and are helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. My complaint is that if you try to eat there on a Friday or Saturday night, you need to either get there around five o'clock or wait in line for at least twenty minutes to half an hour. There is no place to wait, and it's very hard to find parking. Also, if you sit near the front of the restaurant in the wintertime, it's drafty and cold whenever the door is opened. The decor is very modern and nice. Overall, this restaurant is great. [11 Jan 2004 09:05:32]

Good Food - But Go Late I had an excellent meal at this little BYOB with one exception -- the noise. The room just has bad acoustics. The room was crowded –- which attests to the good food. As the night went on and the room cleared out I could begin to hear my wife again. So if you go, wait until as late as you can and then enjoy the good food in quiet. [20 Feb 2004 13:23:29]

Bad experience We've been once before to Teresa's - food was okay, not great. But we decided to go back recently on a weeknight. We arrived about 7:40 p.m. on a Wed night - a bit past prime dining time for the suburbs. The were two four-tops empty, no two-tops empty. The host refused to seat us at a four-top and said we would have to wait approx. 20 minutes for a two-top. We asked why - he said "it's prime dining hour and we need to maximize our profits". Well, 7:40 pm on a weeknight is close to the END of the dining hour in Wayne PA. We left and went next door. When we walked by after dinner we saw those two tables unoccupied...guess he didn't maximize profits. [15 Sep 2005 09:57:19]
