Simply the best Italian food in the area This was the best Italian restaurant that I have eaten at in years. The service was great, and the food was impeccable. The stone brick oven only adds to the flavor of the food and the charm of the restaurant. If you only go out to one restaurant this year, make it this one. [21 Jan 2004 18:47:23]

Overpriced, overrated The food was good, but definitely not worth what was being charged for it. Very Small dining room... tables very close to the next... Over priced for the quality of the food. Trying to be too upscale without the correct atmosphere or recipes. I would not go back, there are better places for the money. [07 Oct 2005 12:58:03]

The best pizza outside of a very few in NYC Fiorello's has recaptured its reputation as a special Italian restaurant!
Danny (the chef/owner) has really zeroed in on quality and its consistency. Everything on the menu is quite good...BUT their pizza is the best. There aren't many pizzas even in NYC that can compare to Fiorello's pies! If you've never had a pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, get ready; you're in for a real treat. The pizza can also be carefully packaged for take out. The staff is always pleasant and eager to serve. [14 Dec 2006 19:06:31]

Overrated The food was good, service was horrible. The lady making the pizza actually had to be our waiter because they were so unorganized. It was very busy and they could not handle it. There wasnt a waiting list, didn't get menus when we sat down, had to ask for a waiter after 15 minutes of waiting. The food wasn't worth the price, the pizza was good to get for takeout ( good recommendation to get take out pizza), other than that don't go there on Fri night or Sat night. Even people with reservations had to wait for a table. [02 Mar 2008 19:57:12]
