I've eaten here once, with two friends. We sat outside, which I would recommend. Our appetizers were fantastic - the salad dressing delicious. However, we were disappointed with the special we ordered. It was very bland. Service was good. I'd go again, although I do think they're a bit pricey for what they offer and the atmosphere. Nice upscale atmosphere, excellent new american/eclectic cuisine and good bar/wine. [13 Oct 2004 11:11:16]

Special I like the outdoor sitting. We need more places like that in the area, even though you're not sitting in the garden but facing the fumes from the street cars. Then again, in Paris they have outdoor sitting facing streets. [22 Apr 2005 18:57:21]

Customer’s dietary needs are not catered for! After ordering I was informed that my selection was not available. The menu is extremely limited from a vegetarian’s point of view. I selected something else and asked if it could be done without meat but was told that it was already mixed in. I asked if something could be put together. The waitress checked and came back to say that the “chef” was NOT prepared to accommodate me……. This was a Monday night… the kitchen was not under pressure…. With all the Restaurants within walking distance, we wasted no time deciding to cancel and go elsewhere. I’ve been vegetarian for 20 years and have never had a Restaurant refuse me food…… Why would I ever go back here? [07 Mar 2006 11:01:50]

Food should catch up to ambience My husband and I ate at the bar. The decor, the wait staff, and clientele all set a great mood. We loved the live music, too. Unfortunately, the meal was really lacking. The vegetable crab soup would have been perfect with a little more crab and a lot more spices. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were delicious. The pork was dry and the fried ravioli was very disappointing. I ordered it because it was listed as a small plate and an entrée so I was sure it was a house specialty. I noticed another bar patron hardly touched her ravioli either. No one asked how the food was or would I have mentioned it then. [27 Jul 2006 10:27:43]

I love it! I have eaten there several times. Each experience has been fantastic! The food is delicious and the menu offers some unusual selections. Ian, one of the chefs, made us some special appetizers that were to die for. The whole place has a great atmosphere - very charming. The staff is pleasant and the outdoor seating is the best. Two thumbs up! [13 Sep 2006 11:45:11]
