Great Hibachi Grill and Japanese Cuisine
I've been to this restuarant many times, both to the hibachi grill and the regular tables. The hibachi grill is an experience, they do a great job making it fun for all and the food is incredible. From the tables, I've had the Chicken Tonkatu, a lightly breaded cutlet with a savory dipping sauce. It is cooked differently than other chicken dishes, lighter and crispier. The sushi is fantastic also. The ambience is quite nice, bamboo curtains and rice paper partitions, with the occasional light clang of blades from the hibachi grill in the background.    [01 Jul 2003 15:50:47]

Craving Sashimi??
This is a gem. Good location, great and personable service and of course excellent sushi/sashimi. Eat at the sushi bar and watch the show. You can't possibly ask for anything fresher or a more extensive array of fish and urchin and other edibles, all artistically arranged. Also excellent cooked dishes if you're inclined. Bring your own sake and the gracious staff will warm it for you and, if you don't drink the whole bottle, will hold it for you till your next visit!! And there's a PA Liquor Store in the shopping center across the street from Ooka! We're regulars!!    [28 Aug 2003 09:45:34]

A weekend in Doylestown
We were greeted simply in a bit of a cold athmosphere. A contemporary new-age beat playing in the background, not as soothing as we would have liked. Maybe some traditional japanese music, with the sound of water trickeling, would complete the exceptionally fine foods.    [17 May 2006 10:04:27]

Eat in service is slow and if you order take out better check it before you leave. They always get it wrong.
