A Great Night Out We had an incredible time. Live Jazz on Saturday's. It was my husbands first time, I had been twice before for lunch and was very impressed. The restaurant has a wonderful smell to it as you first enter. We enjoyed the raw bar, and the lobster stuffed steak very much. When the General Manager had stopped at our table to see how everything was, he stayed to chat with us for a while. My husband is going to bring his parents for there aniversary. Worst service ever This is not the first time we've been to Chiazza but it will most likely be the last. After bringing the water we asked for we were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Our water glasses were only filled when we asked for more water, my wife's salad was served with a dressing, not of her choosing, she was never asked what kind of dressing she would like -- the waiter said "well you didn't say anything" -- our salad and soup plates weren't removed until my wife entre arrived which was quite a while after we were finished our salad and soup. To make the evening complete my wife was served and I waited. I didn't complain because I had ordered Grilled Tuna over Risotto, which I know takes a while to cook and I must say that the risotto I've had at Chiazza in the past was wonderful, so I waited patiently, then the waiter came and removed our plates, the first time we had seen him since my wife's meal was delivered, not noticing that mine was clean he seem suprised that I had never received my meal. He told me that the order had been put in but never came out of the kitchen, he then went to the bartender who helped him remove my order from the register, I had told him if it wasn't ready I didn't want it. As he was talking to the bartender he was smiling, which he didn't do when he was serving. [10 Sep 2007 19:41:43]

Disappointing Chiazza in Barrington is way over priced. Much better dining can be had downtown in the city of Providence for about two thirds of the price.
Sixty+ dollars for two mediocre salads, two glasses of house wine, a bowl of soup and a small 12" pizza that could barely feed a single person is pretty weak. Even in a town like Barrington.
Obviously I would not mind the high bill if the food had been WORTH the price. But unfortunately it was not.
It's no wonder when I drive by this place 5 out of 7 days a week it's virtually empty. Now I know for sure. [27 Jun 2008 12:47:30]
