All About the Money We booked a rehearsal dinner ten months in advance. We were promised the whole main dining room. What we got was about a half of the dining room with screens (that were falling on our guests) to separate us. We had an open bar, but anyone in the restaurant that night could go up and get a drink. The owner said that the bartender would ask what party they were with, but no one with us was ever asked. When we arrived and saw the setup, we were very upset. The manager (who was the fourth manager we had spoken to in 10 months time, which is telling in itself) called the owner to talk with us. The owner came in, took off the price of the appetizers to appease us, but also was rather insulting.
When we went to sit down, they had to set up another table. We were to have either six tables of eight, or eight tables of six. They had squeezed 43 into 4 tables that would normally sit six and one eight top. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was stretched too thin, and there was only one bartender. Besides our party, they booked another rehearsal dinner, plus because it was graduation night many, many people were there for dinner. I would never book another party there because they seemed more concerned with making plenty of money rather than keeping promises to booked customers. [17 Jun 2006 03:20:23]

Not worth it Recently went there for dinner and it was a slow night. The service was good, but the food was not worth the money. The seasonings were overwhelming and in general unimpressive. There was also an odor of mold in the air, I realize it is an old building, but I don't know how comfortable I am with mold spores in the air. In general the atmosphere other than the air was nice, maybe a good place for a drink but if you want good italian save your money and try someplace else. [21 Aug 2007 00:36:51]
