The tastiest, but not the most filling
Thayer St has a lot of pizza places, and they all have their strengths. The Nice Slice is best for crust and sauce. It's a tasty, thin, whole-wheat crust, and the sauce actually has flavor. They don't use a ton of cheese, so you notice both of these flavors. It's also the cheapest for a plain slice, but less filling than the slices from nearby places.

They've also (twice) been quite accomodating when I rushed in and asked for them to make a few large pizzas in a hurry.

Nice Slice is definitely the hippest of the Thayer St joints. Good music, a bit of art (on the walls and on the tables), and a bulletin board filled with upcoming concerts and events.    [21 Nov 2005 13:31:49]

sweet place and awesome food
This place is the best of Thayer St... the pizza is good, but so are the sandwiches. ...mmm tuna melt! It's is definitely the best I've had, ever!! What's even better is that when everyone else in that part of town is closing, they are still open for another hour... just enough time to fuel up before hitting a club... being from the nj/nyc area where everything is open, it was a life saver for my first time in providence.    [08 Jul 2006 23:50:49]

Nice Slice vegan pizza
Nice Slice has great pizza AND for us vegan kids, it also offers vegan pizza options! The Earth Crisis pizza rules!

The atmosphere is also really chill and the Nice Slice staff is great.

Mmmmmm Pizza
Nice slice is a great joint, there's plenty of delicious pizza's ready and good tunes playin. The atmosphere is chill. The pizza is great ranging from classics like pepperoni to nice slice originals like The Supreme (which is a tasty meaty pizza with all your favorites, a sure hit) the staff is very friendly and I love to support this small stor. Truly a piece of Providence
