Disappointed I was really let down Saturday night when I dinned at India in Warren, RI. I've eaten Indian food before and have totally loved everything! All of my friends informed me that this restaurant was rated very high, five stars to be exact. ANYWAY both my friend and I agreed that the dishes we had, tasted like they had been sitting in a steam tray for two days, there was no flavor very dull and very over cooked, dead and it certainly wasn't an inexpensive night out. Great Place I was impressed by India in Warren, RI. The place was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. The best part about it was the food. I have tasted my share of home-cooked Indian cuisine and I have to say that the food at India was quite good. All of the dishes we ordered were brought out promptly and were artistically arranged. Portions were large and prices were reasonable. The curries were delicious, but not as spicy as I hoped. The chicken kabobs were very mild, but still flavorful. Definitely something for everyone! It seems the quality of India Restaurant has diminished. I was very impressed at one time, but now the meals are put together sloppily and it is very obvious that they are trying to save a little money at our expense. The staff is always hospitable and friendly, but the food is not up to standard anymore. [10 Apr 2007 19:52:05]

Delicious and wonderful service I very much enjoyed my visit today for lunch. The service was great! The food was wonderful, except for the shrimp which was overcooked. I had an assortment of dishes and enjoyed it all, my 8 year old son had indian food for the first time and loved it! Beautiful decor', relaxing atmosphere. Service could not be better! All the dishes that the waitress recommended were very good. [19 Jul 2007 18:51:20]

Stay away! The food has never been amazing (the ambience is though) - but they had written much about they're new menu - so we thought we'd give it a try: 1 1/2 hrs. after ordering!!!! the food finally arrived (no appology or any refills of drinks offered) - and it was the same old not very good tasting food. Drive into Providence instead if you want good Indian food. [23 Sep 2007 00:02:33]
