Hard not to scream My friends and I recently had the opportunity to try Thai Pepper right across from the railroad station in Westerly. I have to say...Wow, amazing.A small, simple yet ornate red and wood interior with all the great accessories (pictures, carvings, neat diningware)with pleasant and perfect service. The food knocked all our socks off. I started with a Thai sweetened iced tea, I had the spring rolls and fresh roll appetizer to start. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious and the home-made sause was also a treat. The fresh roll was also very fresh and delicious with a peanut sauce that was sweet and spicy. For an entre I had the red curry with chicken---so much flavor I could hardly keep from yelling " this is so good." The chicken was tender and the vegetables fresh. It came with a side of white rice in just the perfect amount. Lastly, for dessert I had the fried bananas with mango ice cream served on a pretty square plate decorated with strawberry slices and honey. The whole evening was like a gift. We all enjoyed our meals and will be going back often. [09 May 2006 18:34:27]

A true gem ... spead the word Tonight, my wife and I had the pleasure to try the Thai Pepper in Westerly. The food was simply out of this world! We started with spring rolls and chicken satay which somehow tasted fresher than I thought they could be. For the main course, we shared Chicken Pad Thai and Drunken Chicken which I highly recommend. The restaurant was spotless, the menus are a trip and the service was friendly and helpful without ever being annoying. We will be going back soon. [21 May 2006 22:00:05]

scrumptios luncheon We had the pleasure of having lunch with two friends at the Thai Pepper in Westerly on Friday. The food was plated beautifully, especially the desserts. We enjoyed sampling different items from the menu and really loved the rice noodles with a "spice lover" level of heat. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overly so. We will recommend the Thai Pepper to everyone. [19 May 2007 09:59:00]

Disappointing at best I brought my brother there as soon as he got off the train, after a long trip. I had planned to bring him there. The Thai Pepper was recommended by a friend who may have caught them on a good night. The waitress told us that an appetizer that we ordered would have 6 pieces of chicken. It turned out to have 5, and then she did nothing about it.
Afterwords, my entree had a solid piece of what appeared to be a polished stone. I discovered it when I bit into it, which was painful. By then, it was such a disappointment that I decided to pay and leave without mentioning it. I had to apologize to my brother for recommending such a terrible restaurant with such substandard service. [03 Jan 2008 17:15:33]

Just Awful If you like Thai Food, don't go there! And, if you've never tried Thai food, don't go there. The waitress was rude and inadequate. The food tasted worse than a frozen dinner that pretends to be Thai food. They have no competition in the area, which must explain why they are still open.
I didn't get sick to my stomach from the food, but I sure did leave with a bad taste in my mouth. [08 Feb 2008 17:28:05]
