Common Ground is a little coffee shop located in the old downtown area of Beaufort, SC. The interior environment is pleasant, and if the weather is nice (which is most of the year), you can sit on the porch and enjoy the beautiful view of the water and the bridge.

As far as the coffee goes, Common Ground is nothing too spectacular. Anyone accustomed to coffee shops of bigger cities or college towns will immediately notice a lack of selection in specialty drinks, and a general lack of knowledge of such amongst the staff. That being said, the staff is friendly, and will happily serve the various coffee/espresso/tea/smoothie items that are on the menu.    [07 Jun 2007 07:45:56]
