My husband and I had a wonderful, romantic dinner at Anson's. The waiter was extremely helpful, steering us to his favorite dish which was outstanding - barbecue grouper with Carolina rice. The wine list was excellent as well. Altogether a fabulous experience. [25 Nov 2001 21:00:16]

A truly memorable dining experience I had the delightful experience of dining at Anson's restaurant last week. It was a memorable experience --food, service and ambiance were exceptional. I highly recommend the She Crab soup and Anson's signature whole flounder. [08 Apr 2002 15:48:34]

Anson knows how to treat you I had the pleasure of dining at Anson in April 2002. Although I was alone, I was treated like a celebrity, being seated at a lovely window table upstairs. The service and food were fantastic, from the champagne and oysters to the grouper in a nut crust with beurre blanc. I can't wait to visit again someday! [24 Nov 2002 00:59:20]

Lowcountry Shrimp and Grits I would love to get my hands on this recipe so I can make it at home! [01 Jan 2003 14:51:54]

The dream came true I had the priviledge of eating at Anson's 3 years ago and came home and invented my own version of their creamy grits and shrimp. I was just in Charleston two weeks ago and was afraid that the food wouldn't be as wonderful as I remembered -- it wasn't -- it was even BETTER. My daughter ate 4 appetizers and I one entree; all were outstanding and the shrimp and grits were even better than I remembered. Any way to get the recipe for their She-Crab Soup?
