Mandatory stop in Charleston Our walking tour guide recommended Jestine's and my wife recognized it as highlighted on cooking and travel shows. Wonderful, reasonably priced, traditional menu served by energetic friendly staff. Great time. Good call! [17 Feb 2005 17:17:34]

Disappointed Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't delivered! Food and service was ok but nothing like I had heard and read about. Probably won't go back. No major complaints, just nothing exceptional either. [23 Mar 2007 10:49:46]

Southern food at it's best! The fried oysters are the best I've ever eaten. And the coconut cream pie....I don't even LIKE coconut cream pie but Jestine's pie has become my favorite dessert of all time. It's indescribably delicious. No matter how short our stay in Charleston, we always eat at Jestine's. [15 Aug 2007 16:21:47]
