Good BBQ Is Worth a Try Sticky Fingers is a nice restaurant with pretty good ribs. The BBQ wasn't outstanding - I've had better - but all in all it's pretty good. [10 May 2001 12:23:30]

Good Service My wife and I were referred to Sticky Fingers by some locals, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant reminds me very much of a restaurant chain known as "Red, Hot, and Blue." In fact, the two restaurants could easily be siblings based upon their respective menu offerings that have strong leanings toward Memphis Style BBQ and ribs. Yet, I would have to give a decided overall advantage to "Red, Hot and Blue" because the BBQ there is so much better than the fare that is offered at Sticky Fingers.
Interestingly, we liked the non-entree portions of our meals very much. The Onion Loaf appetizer was perfectly prepared and the side dishes of baked beans and slaw that complemented our main BBQ dishes were very good as well. It was just too bad that the BBQ did not measure up, though we did hear a couple of diners at an adjacent table say that the the Dry Memphis Style Ribs they were devouring were excellent. Maybe we erred in not ordering the ribs.
The service level at Sticky Fingers is of high quality and the ambiance and overall atmosphere there is satisfactory, though nothing special for an area like Charleston. If we eat at Sticky Fingers again in the future we would definitely lean towards trying the ribs and staying away from the BBQ. [03 Oct 2002 21:57:37]

Good Non-Carolina Style Ribs As a long time BBQ fan, I've had ribs, beef, pork from most places around the USA.
Sticky Fingers has a very good rib sampler platter; all 4 styles of rib in one dinner.
As a previous reviewer noted, the BBQ itself is second-rate, at best. I think the problem is that the pork used for BBQ here in Charleston is incredibly lean (read: tasteless), and all the nice slow cooking and the best saucing can't overcome poor meat.
P.S. Best places for BBQ are Alabama, California and Texas. [31 Oct 2002 15:56:05]

Spectacular Food I've eaten barbeque at Red, Hot, and Blue, Famous Dave's, as well as Rendevous and Corky's in Memphis and I can say without a doubt that Sticky Fingers blows them all away. Whether it's the smoked chicken, wings, or the fantastic ribs and Q you cannot go wrong. In addition the staff there goes out of the way to be helpful...which is a bonus to anyone who has struggled through a meal with an empty glass or an incorrect order and the waiter no where to be seen. When I die I rest content knowing that there will be a buffet of ribs from Sticky Fingers on the other side of the Pearly Gates. [14 Apr 2004 01:39:16]

Sticky Fingers Rib House is so different from other restaurants out there. The servers and managers are so friendly. If you have not tried Sticky Fingers you should. You do not know what you are missing out on. [18 May 2005 12:24:20]

Listen to Me, You Need to Try Sticky Fingers! This place is sooo good. Our family had so much fun that we went back twice. They have the best ribs I have ever tasted in my entire life and you should really try them for yourself. The chicken was really good too, but you also have to try the pork potato skins appetizer - so good! You also have to try the barbecue sauces that are on the table...they have 5 or 6 sauces that really are the best. [28 Jun 2005 11:36:42]

My favorite restaurant. This place rocks. I've eaten at the one in Charleston and the one in Columbia. Best wings ever. Wish I had one in my hometown. [21 Aug 2005 06:55:25]
