The One and Only For over 25 years, The House of Leung has served homecooked American/Cantonese style Chinese food to Clemson. Owner/head chef Simon Leung keeps a tight ship in the back, overseeing the staple dishes that have kept its loyal customers coming back. His wife, Estella, runs an equally efficient dining area. The menu reflects what what one expect - Chow Mein, Sweet & Sour, and Lo Mein. Try the Hot and Sour Soup, one of the best I've had. But look into the House Specials section, and you'll find more esoteric dishes like Hong Kong style steak, which proved to be delicious, as well as a number of Seafood Wor Bars. Our waitress was prompt and friendly, with an endearingly strong Southern accent. The atmosphere has a fun, kitschy aspect to it, with lots of gold trimmed accents and even a couple of imposing stone soldiers guarding the front. My fortune cookie revealed no revelations, but suggests numbers to select in the next lottery. Overall, for those traveling to Clemson for a football game, or just passing through, The House of Leung is mandatory dining! [03 Jun 2003 17:19:07]

my coworkers and I have eaten At House of Leung many times over the past few years. We have always loved the food they serve and their service is excellent. This is a great family owned business. [28 Feb 2006 10:29:15]
