Excellent Food in a Wonderful Atmosphere
This is one of my long standing favorites and well worth the trip from Downtown Charleston.

The staff is always pleasant and the food is always excellent.

The River Cafe is situated on the Folly River and offers deck dining and cocktails when the weather permits. During the cooler months, try to get a table by the fireplace!

If you are a crab lover I highly recommend the "crab steak". This is, for all intents and purposes, an overgrown crab cake with 99.9% lump crab meat and only a minimal amount of filler.    [02 Aug 2002 20:01:52]
