Good exemplar of local food
This is the place if you want to sample the type of cooking which has long been loved in the low country. Try the Gullah rice, cooked with shrimp, sausage, chicken and herbs. Or a special like Frogmore stew -- shrimp, sausage, corn-on-the-cob and potatoes. Unpretentious atmosphere, always friendly service and sometimes live music.    [09 Nov 2005 19:29:25]
