Yummy
I ate there this past weekend and it was great. The best value for money for Southern cooking. Momma is as sweet as can be. Only thing, don't be in a big rush.
A big variety of vegetables and meat.
If you need take out, just call her beforehand and she'll have it ready for you in no time.

Where the locals eat...
Excellent barbecue, both mustard and vinegar (none of that ketchup stuff from Memphis!), fried chicken, occasional catfish. Wide range of sides, with the collards and macaroni getting high marks, and wonderful hush puppies. Some of the other sides may have seen the inside of a can, though. Service is limited to your drinks-- it's a buffet. It has the ambiance of a barbecue joint, so your tux'll look out of place. Heck, we're suspicious of your shoes! [23 Apr 2003 14:10:04]
