Named correctly, The Wreck is located in an old building which doesn't even have the name posted outside.

Wow!!
The best fried shrimp I have ever had!! Great food and fun! Makes the drive from South Florida worth it everytime. Try it and you won't be disappointed.    [03 Dec 2003 10:24:24]

Warm and memorable
The seafood is excellent - fresh and delicious. We love the she crab soup and warm key lime bread pudding as well. This place has a charm that is delightful year round. Most locals and visitors know about the spring-summer-fall draw, but for a romantic, cozy evening we love to come here on a cold winter night when the fireplaces are burning and the light is low.    [09 Jan 2004 09:08:35]

Great Experience
We went to "The Wreck" on the advice of a friend and found it to be a great experience. The food was great, service was good and we even met the owner. We were leaving to find an ATM when we found that the restaurant didn't take credit cards. The owner stopped us and told us go ahead and eat and just mail him a check when we got home (we live in Florida). The ambiance is great. Don't miss this place if you get a chance.    [01 Jun 2004 22:13:32]

A FUN FIND
Boiled Peanuts, Fried Green Tomatoes and fresh, lightly breaded seafood. We were after the banana pudding but it was sold out so we settled for the Key Lime Bread Pudding. A truly southern eating experience, the place was really a dive but that's what made it fun. The waitresses were attentive, we enjoyed the sunset and the owner was a very nice gentleman who thanked us for coming and asked us back.    [20 Jun 2006 13:46:47]
