Half a meal... I went to store #3551 and ordered the fish and chicken combo...it came to $6.35. I got home, opened the meal and found only 4 little pieces of fish.
I called the store to tell them, only to have the guy that answered the phone ask if I wanted to run back down there and get it. Now come on, it's late evening, 29 degrees with the wind blowing with high gusts... and even if the weather had been nice out, the meal I had here would not be fit to eat by the time I went down there, waited on the chicken, then returned home. So, they ruin my meal, suggest I run back out to get what should have been in the combo anyhow. When I say no to running back to get it, he says he'll take my name, and next time I come in, I'll get the chicken free... Uhhh, I PAID $6.35 already.. how on God's green Earth can I get something for free, AFTER I paid for it??? Service like this is EXACTLY why places of business get shut down. [01 Dec 2002 20:02:51]

Broiled Platters Are Great! I have been on a diet of the past few months and would not go to Captain D's beause of all the fried foods. My husband had a coupon for Captain's D's that he wanted to use and ask me if I wanted anything. I told him Captain D's didn't have anything I could eat. Well, he was excited to tell me that I was wrong. That has been a month ago and we have gone to Captain D's once a week since then. There broiled dinners are great! You get salad and baked potato with them and there are several combinatioins. I have now added Captain D's to my list of healthy resturants! Thanks [11 Apr 2003 12:14:20]

Loved It Thanks for continuing to provide great food, excellent service at value prices. We eat at Captain D's probably once a week, and I love their bite sized shrimp dinners. My husband can never decide what he wants so the "sampler platter" works out great for him. Your staff is always so warm and friendly in welcoming us, and tending to our every need. We love "Captain D's" and will continue to patronize your restaurants as well as spread the word what wonderful food you have. Thanks! [10 Aug 2004 15:54:38]

Captain Headache I am a very big fan of "the captain", but recently I have had not such wonderful experiences!! They were out of tarter sauce and burned my clams. I waited for 35 min and to no avail could they get it right! I will think long and hard about eating at captain d's again. Too much trouble!!! [01 Mar 2005 19:43:04]
