A Great Pace to Dine
The Mayor's House was so impressive, my husband and I ate there two nights in a row while on vacation at Litchfield. The Portabella Mushroom Soup is wonderful...highly recommended. The Lobster Cardinal, with the shrimp, scallops and lobster sauce is out of this world! We can't wait to go back! [08 Jul 2002 12:53:11]

It's the best!!
My sister and mom kept telling me we HAD to eat at the Mayors House. I couldn't understand what was so great about it. I found out this summer. It is THE best restaurant I have ever eaten in. The service was fantastic, Keith is the best too!! [02 Aug 2003 10:48:25]

The Best Duck south of Little River
My favorite dish has long been the crispy duck entre. Of course I always like to preface it with an appetizer of escargot.

Best She Crab Soup on the Grand Strand

Maybe I was just unlucky
Having read the reviews I just had to try this reatuarant while my wife and I were on holiday at Litchfield Beach. The place itself was fine but when I ordered my entree I asked if I could have another type of potato other than the listed garlic mash. Apparently this was not possible and the pork loin came with an abundance of fried spinach, which was the other vegetable on offer. The final straw came when I arrived home and found that my credit card had been debited with $20 more than the cost of the meals even though I had given a cash tip for the service on the night.
