The best Fabulous authentic food, fabulous staff fabulous owners, fabulous everything! Almost as good as the Cornelius location, which sadly is no longer! Keep up the good work y'all! [04 Aug 2004 06:09:56]

Best Margarita Anywhere! Mexican restaurants in SC are about as common as kudzu. They tend to offer mediocre food in large portions at inexpensive prices. That was pretty much my take on Carolina Mexican restaurants until my daughter, who works as a social worker in Rock Hill, introduced me to El Cancun. The food may not compare to El Charro in Tucson ( my favorite) but it is definitely a cut above most restaurants of this type in these parts. The margaritas are creamy wonders. [15 Sep 2004 09:31:41]

Sopa de Pollo es muy bueno! Years ago, a former roommate suggested I try the chicken soup at El Cancun. I had never been there, and had definately never had chicken soup at a Mexican restaurant. The stuff is awesome! Low fat, delicious, and inexpensive - it's a favorite of mine. I love it so much, I don't think I've ordered any other meal there (though I've eaten some of their other dishes off my husband's plate)! The sangria is also very good, served with fresh fruit slices. Great service, great food, and great prices make this an easy favorite for Mexican. [20 Nov 2005 01:08:49]
