A pub with a great atmosphere and food
This medium sized pub/restaurant with many outdoor tables offers a terrific dining experience. Many of the outside tables as well as most of the inside ones were occupied by cheery customers. It was a Sunday afternoon when I visited this establishment and there was nearly a full house. The bar portions were empty and everyone was there for the food which surprised me. Although this is a pub, there were many families with children there and they have a kids coloring menu and crayons, so children are quite welcome. The waitress was very attentive and the food was served fresh and hot. They offer a typical bar menu with an additional variety of sandwiches with one sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. the portions were on the small side but the quality was excellent. Great if you are drinking a lot!
Have been numerous times, food is pretty much sub-standard! But the kids love it so we keep throwing our money away and returning! After a few drinks the food doesn't taste too bad! [21 Apr 2006 14:23:13]

My second home
This is one of my favorite places to go and hang out on all days of the week. Its always busy because its just that good! The food is amazing in my opinion, i couldnt believe it when i read the other reviews of it being sub standard...I love it. You can even bring your dog along and let it sit with you outside while you eat. [01 Feb 2008 22:39:16]

Recommended Dishes: I highly recommend the grilled bacon and tomato and also the fish & chips...GREAT!
