don't miss,,, when in s'ville,,, also has several sister restaurants in mt pleasant,,, well-managed, congenial staff, & great food imaginatively cooked & presented,,, probably the 2nd best in s'ville,,, outdone by the state's ONLY 5 star spot [04 Jun 2006 11:01:24]

A nice change I have dined at the Mustard Seed numerous times. The menu changes from time to time and there is always something interesting to choose from. The food is always good and the service has always been exceptional. It is a couple dollars more to eat at the Mustard Seed than it is to eat at one of the chain restaurants, but the food selection is worth it. It is located in two older buildings that they have joined, so when you get there it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a nice restaurant inside. [02 Dec 2007 17:45:59]

A Welcome Change of Pace I have been eating at the various locations of this restaurateur for many years now (My husband especially likes the Boulevard Diner on Coleman Blvd in Mt. Pleasant - I prefer Mustard Seed (especially Summerville location) and Settee. [26 Jan 2008 13:09:58]

Small in size, big on taste The restaurant itself is rather small, but the food is fantastic. I love the atmosphere, the staff, and the food is killer. I had the seafood risotto, and it was just amazing. The scallops were huge, and all of it was done to perfection.
If you are in Summerville this is a must try place! [01 Jul 2008 17:00:57]
