I didn't have the same experience as the last person who reviewed. The steak was OK, but the service was horrible. I got the impression the waitress didn't like us from the moment we walked in (plenty of open tables but ten minutes until we were seated). The whole experience took well over an hour (closer to an hour and a half) and the eating took up maybe ten minutes. It was over thirty minutes from the time we finished our meal until the check came out. The food as I mentioned earlier was OK. If you own a broiler and a microwave you can make as good of a meal yourself. Steak didn't have much flavor, was quite dry, but was edible. The potato was a potato. If you've got a microwave I'm sure you've had similar. Salad bar had seen better days... lettuce was turning that beautiful brown color. The soup, however, was really quite good. As for the atmosphere, I really quite liked it. Nothing like having a restaurant in a barn! Overall poor marks due mainly to the poor service. Stay at home, save your money... it'll take less time and quite honestly be better.    [08 Oct 2006 02:08:15]
