Great coffee shop!
This is a very nice coffee shop with a pleasant atmosphere and a decent choice of muffins/cookies/etc. to go with your drink choice. The main room is good-sized, with plenty of seating and an upstairs area for when needed. This is a university town and I'm sure this "Starbucks-like" shop does very well. We were visiting from New Jersey and were happy to find this establishment.    [23 Apr 2003 21:20:16]

Best coffee shop in town
Common grounds is always the first place I go when I'm home. It has everything--great coffee, sandwiches, music and super comfy couches. It's where everyone in Spearfish goes for coffee and I can never go without bumping into at least one person I know.    [10 Dec 2003 05:39:38]

A must see for coffee lovers of all ages!!
