Some of the best food in the area
My wife, son, and I had been travelling from Yellowstone on our way back to Minnesota and decided to lay up in Spearfish. We parked our trailer at a nearby campground and came into town for a bite to eat. Not knowing the town at all, we were looking for a quiet place to have a meal that wasn't cooked over a trailer stove. Imagine our surprise when we stumbled into the Eleventh Hour Bistro. The place is very unassuming from the street. We stopped and read the menu board outside the facility and were marginally impressed. After having been on the road for a couple of weeks and read a number of menu boards, it's hard to believe any meal advertisements. Were we wrong! I have had the pleasure of dining in some of the finest restaurants (that the common person can afford) in the country. This one ranks right up at the top. It's so good that when people I know are heading west, I always tell them about the excellent meal I had there. It's such a fond memory that I took time from my day to look them up on the web two years later and found this review form.    [13 Feb 2002 18:18:34]
