Mediocre at best
We had the signature chicken dish and while it wasn't bad, it also wasn't noteworthy. The entire menu has a blandness to it where nothing jumps out. The bread can be compared to the rolls at O'Charley's, a less than mediocre establishment itself.

Lastly, the wine list is dull, dull, dull.

Overall, I can't say it was a horrible dining experience, but the setting overlooking the water is the high point. It is unlikely that I will bother going back.    [23 Jul 2007 14:55:33]

Can't wait to return to Knoxville!
We were visiting friends in Knoxville and ate at the Lakeside Tavern over Memorial Day. Our party of four all ordered different entrees and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The service was top notch, and the view over the marina was breathtaking. Whenever we come to visit Knoxville, this will be our restaurant of choice.    [29 May 2008 11:51:36]
