The Arcade Restaurant is a landmark treasure lying in downtown Memphis, across from Central Station. The food is wonderful with great breakfast and hand-tossed pizza. The ambiance is familiar as the restaurant has a "diner" feel to it. If in downtown, make sure you stop by the Arcade for either breakfast, lunch, dinner, or all three. [13 Mar 2000 13:16:40]

Memphis' Oldest Restaurant, Nostalgia, and Great Food You simply must try Memphis' oldest restaurant--it's like going back in time. Their breakfasts are great--down home cooking. The hand tossed pizza is a more recent addition, and I must say, it is incredibly delicious. In fact, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. The old brick building is a little worn around the edges (it's O-L-D!), but the food and folks inside will make you feel right at home. It's also right on the trolley line, so you can hop aboard and head on over from most anywhere downtown. Plenty of parking nearby as well. I can't wait to go back. [12 Nov 2003 21:40:48]

Step Back in Time The Arcade is a delightful downtown gem! The same family that opened it still owns and manages it today. It is the oldest restaurant in Memphis and managed to hold on to it's original feel. Sometimes the service can be a touch slow, but the food and atmosphere are well worth it! It is definitely my favorite place for breakfast downtown. [26 Feb 2004 10:42:01]

Pancakes are great The buttery pancakes melt in your mouth. Lots of history in this place and several movies filmed here, too, which makes it cool. [25 Nov 2006 12:27:29]
