Corky's Ribs Excellent taste of Memphis food -- This is one place that's worth a 15 hour drive just for the food. [11 Dec 1999 23:49:45]

Best Barbecue in the World This is what Memphis barbecue is about. The food is great no matter what you get and the service is wonderful too. Only problem is that because it is so good, there is a long wait at peak times. Go early! [02 Oct 2001 15:45:12]

Worth the Wait The best BBQ in the world! Makes even a Texan understand the meaning of REAL southern pork BBQ! So good, in fact, that I've never been that I didn't have to wait -- but the wait just makes it even better once you get in the dining room! [29 Jun 2002 22:20:24]

True Memphis I have never been served better with such great food. I enjoyed this place. Though it's not my favorite to get bar-b-que from, it's a very, very close second. [10 Feb 2004 14:54:19]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: put the slaw on the bbbq sandwich, use the hot sauce

I don't get it Corky's is not bad if you are anywhere but Memphis, but in Memphis it just doesn't cut the mustard. Rendezvous and Blues City are Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon -- Corky's is the theme to Chips. It is like Top 40 BBQ. Good, but not remarkable. [23 Apr 2004 17:12:54]

A great choice There's a thousand good BBQ places in Memphis and everyone has their favorite, but the fact of the matter is that Corky's is packed with Memphians every time you drive by. With all the choices, they're doing something right. The ambience can't compete with the Rendezvous or the Comissary in Germantown but the food, particularly the wet ribs, is excellent. The only reason I didn't give it a five is that I have yet to have the BBQ worth a five outside of the BBQ Fest. [23 Feb 2005 22:15:42]

Factory Fresh Ribs! Completely overrated and entirely mediocre food. Average service. Get your Corky's ribs in the frozen food section of your grocery store and save yourself the trip. [28 Nov 2005 15:05:28]
