Boro Remains A Dive
Definitely a dive bar. Lot's of drinks help bring it to life...beware any food items there....However, always a must for up and coming musicians....some good bands pass through...the people make the place...and the writer's nights are good...    [04 Sep 2002 20:37:25]

Boro - Proud to be a dive
Happily, The Boro lives up to its slogan "The cleanest little dive bar this side of the river."

Almost any night of the week you can go see live music from amazing local bands. The menu is typical bar food with some exceptions. For vegetarians: any hamburger on the menu can be turned into a delicous black bean burger and they have baked potatoes. Word from non veggies is the Chicken wings are outstanding.

They have just about every beer you can think of (and then some). Service is fast, freindly and to the point. Don't look for servers on a busy night, walk up to the bar and ask for what you need; they will be more than happy to oblige.

In addition to this, they have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a bar. If you go to MTSU then you know all about this place or you should!    [02 Mar 2004 00:29:35]

The only bar I feel at home in

It's alright by me
I get a craving for a Boro burger now and then - and part of that craving is washing it down with a tasty import.

Out of town bands BEWARE - there is NO P.A. and they will not feed you nor give you any kind of beer deal. However, you will get all the door. It boggles the mind why this place won't put any money into a sound system. It's a shame really, it's the only game in town off the square - and the Boro exploits that fact. great ambience
This bar just bleeds coolness. The ambience is great, it's comfy, the beer list is STELLAR and the people are friendly.

They not only have a nice stage to support some awesome INDIE bands, but there is a nice-sized patio where the patrons can go if they want to enjoy the open air.
